You just got off from the bus for your 3 day vacation here in Baguio and right when you felt the cold breeze brushing your skin and the homey vibe of the city, you immediately tell yourself that like this is home.
It isn’t really surprising if you would feel that way. Baguio does have this feel to it that makes you want to stay a bit more. Lots of travelers coming up here in the City of Pines feel like they have a vacation hangover after their trip here. It wouldn’t even be that surprising if you would even consider investing in Real Estate here. So you now confront the question “Why should I invest in Real Estate in Baguio?” First things first, if you’re a student or an employee here in the city, you would definitely need to get a good place to be in, now if you would be staying for long term, wouldn’t it be more practical to find properties that you can Rent to Own or properties that would offer a doable paying scheme than paying a monthly lease? If you aren’t a student or an employee here, then you might still consider the fact that wouldn’t it be much better to have your own place where you can crash when the things get tensed back in the lowlands than staying at a hotel or a pension house? Second would be the fact that Baguio is a promising city. There are lots of opportunities for businesses here especially in the Real Estate Sector. If you do buy a property, say a house and lot in Baguio City, then you can have place back on the market for those who are looking for a house for rent or you can refurbish the house and convert it to transient home, or a boarding house. Baguio is the business and education hub of the North, factor in the fact that it’s a very popular tourist destination. You can expect a good ROI in just a matter of time. Third and probably the last and most important reason would be the ambiance and the people in Baguio. It’s homey and it’s family-friendly. Who doesn’t want that? It can be quite surprising that you can easily relate to the residents here because you would get to meet people from lots of places from Pangasinan, Ilocos, Manila, Tarlac, Bulacan and Pampanga. It is most probably the melting pot of the Nort. It’s never hard to fit in with the crowd and the chilly atmosphere would help you blend in and relax a bit more than the hot and humid weather back in the lowlands. Settling in is also easy peasy. You start off with choosing what kind of property you would want to purchase. Say, do you prefer a house and lot or do you prefer condominium instead? There is a ton of house and lot in Baguio that are in the market. You may also choose among the newly constructed and previously existing condominium in Baguio City for sale. Then you can proceed to looking for realtors who would help you find your dream place and arrange the tedious paper works for you. So at the end of your stay, make the decision before you hop in that bus that would take you back home and make Baguio City your own home.
